In the Hospital and Oncology market we have three Regional Manager positions – Fiona Jonker heads up our activities in Queensland with Andrew Wells responsible for all southern states and Russell Hill for Western Australia.
Fiona Jonker
Fiona graduated from the University of Northwest in Potchefstroom, South Africa, in 1999. Having completed her pre-registration year in hospital pharmacy, Fiona went on to spend three years in a community setting before moving to Australia in 2004. On arrival, Fiona joined APHS as a technician until her APEC qualification was completed. Over the next 2 years Fiona worked as a hospital pharmacist at APHS’ Greenslopes campus before taking on a management role overseeing the Central Brisbane Hospital and Oncology Division. This evolved to Queensland Regional Manager in 2010 were she currently oversees 10 APHS Pharmacy sites across the state.
Andrew Wells
Andrew graduated from Victorian College of Pharmacy in 1990 completing his pre-registration training at Monash Medical Centre. After 12 years as a manager and proprietor in community pharmacy, he made his way back to hospital pharmacy via aged care with a national pharmacy service provider in a number of practical and management roles. He joined APHS in 2007 as regional manager with a focus on further developing the APHS brand in the southern states.
Russell Hill
Completing his Bachelor of Pharmacy in 1991, Russell subsequently gained extensive experience in hospital pharmacy throughout Western Australia. Swapping the west for a 10 year stint in the UK, Russell fulfilled a number of senior roles in the public system. Having recently completed an MBA, Russell is applying his business knowledge to the growth and success of APHS in his role as State Manager for Western Australia.
