In the Hospital and Oncology market we have two Regional Manager positions - Stacy La Hood heads up our activities in Queensland and Northern New South Wales whilst Andrew Wells, is responsible for the Southern Region combining the rest of NSW, ACT, Victoria and South Australia.
Stacy started her Pharmacy career in 1987 in community pharmacy in New Zealand, before moving into Hospital Pharmacy in 1993. During a period subsequently working overseas Stacy gained further hospital pharmacy experience as a locum in several large London NHS hospitals in 1995. On her return to New Zealand in 1996, she was appointed to her first management role as Pharmacy Technician Supervisor at Christchurch Public Hospital.
Whilst in Christchurch, Stacy received two study grants from the New Zealand HealthCare Professionals Association, enabling her to travel to Australia and the United Kingdom to evaluate the provision of Pharmacy services. Reflecting on these experiences, Stacy moved to Brisbane in 2002, taking up an opportunity to join the APHS team where she has risen to her current role of Regional Manager for Queensland and Northern Rivers, in which she can utilise her comprehensive skills and experience.
Andrew graduated from Victorian College of Pharmacy in 1990 completing his pre-registration training at Monash Medical Centre. After 12 years as a manager and proprietor in community pharmacy, he made his way back to hospital pharmacy via aged care with a national pharmacy service provider in a number of practical and management roles. He joined APHS in 2007 as regional manager with a focus on further developing the APHS brand in the southern states.
