APHS was founded in 1986 with the introduction of a pharmacy at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital in Brisbane. From these humble beginnings, APHS has grown to become a national company with 450 staff across 28 sites in 6 states and territories.

Having commenced as a hospital pharmacy business, APHS has diversified to meet the opportunities of a growing healthcare market. In 2011 APHS delivered pharmacy services to hospital, oncology and aged care facilities, as well as manufacturing dose administration aids which are sold in community pharmacies across Australia.
